Would SAP SSO support End in 2027? If so, what are the options to Cover SAPGUI SSO and also SAML services with OKTA. Would SAP Cloud Identity services cover all the features or if additional products are to be considered

Hello, the successor to SAP Single Sign-On 3.0 is SAP Secure Login Service for SAP GUI.

Exploring SAP Secure Login Service for SAP GUI: A Comprehensive Review

https://community.sap.com/t5/technology-blogs-by-members/exploring-sap-secure-login-service-for-sap-...

This service is part / comes with the SAP Cloud Identity Services and aims to cover all common use cases for BTP, SaaS, and traditional on-premises or private cloud ABAP and S/4HANA systems using SAP Logon. It can already replace SAP SSO 3.0, though some features from the old SAP Secure Login Server are not yet implemented. However, most scenarios, such as SNC with Kerberos and X.509, are supported.

We recommend all new (greenfield) customers implement this new solution. Existing customers should consider migrating to centralize authentication towards an identity provider, enhancing security through identity and device signals, and adopting zero-trust approaches.

Hope this helps.

Cheers Colt
