I have tried unsucessfully 8 times now to provision a SAP S/4 HANA 1610 FPS01, Fully Activated Appliance.
6 times i have had an issue with the Software Activation, on the 2 times the software activated i was unable to connect to the host IP.
Is anyone else facing similar issues - other than terminating and trying again, what is recommended.

Yes it is the password, it's a known issue and we will be working on fixing it, but for now you can at least use a master password different from the default one and previous ones (Welcome1, Welcome2).
This should be enough to have a successful provisioning of a new instance.

We are currently trying to reproduce your issue, it would be helpful if you can provide a few log files from the operating system, so we can narrow the search. If you keep one of your failed instances could you please provide the following log files:
/var/log/applianceboot.log
/var/log/applianceagent.log
/var/log/appliancedeploy.log
