SAP Portal 7.1: Not able to create new users

We have Netweaver CE 7.1 Linux version installed. I logged in to the portal using the administrator account. When I try to create a new user or copy to new user, I keep getting this error after I click on 'Save'. "Unique attribute is configured but during creation no unique attribute is provided nor fallback". Does anyone know what could be the problem? Thank you for your help.

Hi ,

You are using LDAP as your UME and thats why you are unale to create user.Please have a llok at ::

Also you may need to llok at SAP Note 777640.
