Greetings Everyone!!! I am exploring a career around SAP technologies. I do have development backgound of middleware and database technologies using C# and JAVA, cloud, perfromance engineering, management with close to over all 18+ years of experience. I would like to get some suggestions from SAP community and also if anyone made a move switching to SAp from traditional application/services developement.

I am looking for infights on what't the best course to make a switch and what do you suggest to start with, focus  more and get hands-on experience or get trained on and suggested certifications on SAP modules. I would like to focus more on technology rathar than functional.

Appreciate your insights and more importantly your time.

Have a great weekend

Mohan

I, too, came from a technical, but non-SAP background. I found the book titled, "Application Development with SAP Business Technology Platform" (from SAP PRESS) to be quite helpful. It not only describes underlying technologies and architectures, but also provides example programs to help you learn.
