Dear Experts!!
What the best ways to make existing SAP IDM system compliant with GDPR policy which is going to be implemented from May 25, 2018.
How effectively we can make restriction to view employees personal information.
Regards,
Deva
Hi Deva
You do not necessarily make SAP IDM compliant, its more that IDM is one of the tools that can be used to demonstrate your compliance. It is a Process Control (PC) tool. One of the important aspects of GDPR compliance is providing ongoing digital evidence to the supervising authority of for example breach management, compliant policies & privacy notices and procedures etc, this tool is one of those process control and evidence providing tools. ILM and IRF (specifically "generic-smart-search" are other applications that fall into this tool kit. <<Contact information removed by moderator>>

Deva,
That's an incredibly broad question. Rather than just asking about GDPR in general, try to break it down to smaller parts that pose a challenge to you.
Thanks,
Matt
