SAP IAS Error when trying to change subject name identifier

Hi All,

I am trying to configure IAS for setting up an internal career site and RCM as per the steps in the blog

When I try to change the subject name identifier on the application from user ID to login name, we get the

below error: Add/Replace operation value should not be null.

I could not find any SAP KBA on this issue.

Please let me know if you have encountered this issue in your experience and how did you resolve the same.

Hi Amrit,

I think I saw this yesterday. I tried to set a fallback attribute, failed that, then went back to set the basic attribute and it allowed me to. Not sure if I work bad or if there's some undocumented feature that you need to attempt it multiple times.
I will continue to watch this thread, curious what the "right answer" will be.
