sap hana in cloud

Hi Experts,

I want to know the basics of SAP HANA in the cloud.

I have seen Installations and operations of SAP HANA on premise but I did not have any experience in the cloud.

Can some one please give me good links and pointers to understand how HANA operates in the cloud.

SAP HANA on-premise experience was different, but to know more about SAP HANA into Cloud, there could be different aspects to explore :

1. SAAS (Software As A Service)
2. PAAS (Platform As A Service)
3. IAAS (Infrastructure As A Service)

SAP HANA Cloud is is a multi-cloud database as a service (DBaaS) that empowers customers to store data, tier data, and ensure that high-value data is accessible whenever needed. The  SAP HANA Cloud engine can be used to develop all the power applications that an organization needs, or it can simply connect any applications already in use.

SAP Cloud Platform for example is a platform as a service (Paas) for the development, integration, and operation of cloud services. SAP HANA Cloud is a database as a service(DBaaS) that is offered, provisioned,and managed by the SAP Cloud Platform. You can find more information at:
