I am able to reproduce that behavior. We are tracking this as an internal incident. Fix should be in the next revision of SAP GUI for Java 7.50.

In general, for issues with SAP GUI for Java, please file a bug report on component BC-FES-JAV.

Hello Yunze,

Does this happens when running inside ADT or standalone?

Depending whether crashing actually means ABAP dump, whole process crashes or session hangs, please do (copied from 1617725 - SAP GUI for Java FAQ and problem solving )

P: Starting a certain transaction results in an ABAP dump.
S: In case this happens right after login and before displaying the easy access menu, this might be caused by missing codepage files. Please refer to note 550564. In case this happens in transactions containing a html-control, no appropriate OpenJFX might be installed and set in Module Path. Please note that some Linux distributions provide OpenJFX packages, that are not compatible with Java 11 and newer. For appropriate OpenJFX, please refer to the system requirements of SAP GUI for Java. For how to specify the Module Path, please refer to chapter 5.1 of the manual. In other cases, please submit a bug report according to note 326558.

P: Starting a certain transaction or during using it, SAP GUI for Java crashes.
S: Please submit a bug report and attach the crash log-file (Linux and Windows hs_err_pid*.log, Mac SAPGUI*.crash)

P: Starting a certain transaction or during using it, SAP GUI for Java is not crashing but no longer responding.
S: Please submit a bug report and attach the output of the jstack command on the process id of SAP GUI for Java. For this install a JDK if not available yet, find out the process id of SAP GUI for Java by command jps, and run "jstack <pid> >JavaGUI_stack.txt" (replace <pid> with process id).

Please open a support incident on component BC-FES-JAV will all the information and files etc.

Best regards

Rolf-Martin

Dear Rolf-Martin,

It happens in SAP GUI for JAVA standalone, you may find it if you open se80,then click on the package droplist, trying to switch another package,it will reproduce.Sorry I currently don't own an OSS account to submit incident.

Kind Regards,

Yunze
