SAP GUI Machine?

Per documentation, the GUI Machine requires EP 5.0 SP5. Can the available version be installed on EP 6.0?

Have you heard anything new on the Guimachine for EP6.0 - or is it still to be delivered in Q1 2004 - and in what kind of release (alpha or GA) ??

The current version of the GUIMachine available via SDN only works with EP5.0 Patch1 Hotfix 5 upwards. The EP 6.0 version of the GUIMachine is likely to be released at end of Q1 2004.

Are you talking about an alpha, beta, or commercial release? Since the available version of GUIMachine is alpha, is there going to be a commercial release of GUIMachine for EP 5.0 sp5?

Hi,

3 weeks a go in Dallas during the ASUG BITI Forum we were told that the alpha (non-supported) version is for EP5 only. The GA release of GUIMachine at the end of Q1 of 2004 is going to be for EP6 only. I specifically asked the question whether the EP5 community was going to get stuck with the alpha version, and the answer was yes. (!!!???)
