HI Team

We are using  SAP GUI for Windows on the end-user side. All our users are reaching to SAP systems (ECC,BW, BI,SCM,PM,HR,S4).
We have Win shuttle, Prometheus, Ariba and SAP PO, and Analysis for Office in our landscape
We have JAVA 8 Update 301 However Oracle announced the engine will require a license in the future. hence infrastructure is planning to remove the licensed version of JAVA from our end user. Can we get a compatible version of JAVA requirements For SAP that SAP GUI 770 and SAP GUI 800?

The SAP GUI for the Java Environment refers to SAP GUI for Java, which is an unified SAP front end running on Linux, OS X and Windows for connecting to WebAS ABAP.

Recent versions of SAP GUI for Java come with the SAPmachine JRE embedded and therefore do not depend on an installed Java anymore other than for the installation. SAP therefore do not expect problems related to a migration to any other Java version. SAP GUI for Java's "About" dialog displays the Java VM that is used. It should display something like "Java VM: SAP SE Version 17.0.6+0-LTS". If so then the internal JRE is used.

For further information, check the SAP Note 146505 - SAP GUI for the Java environment (Platform Independent GUI)
