Q: "In previously we are working SAP ABAP ECC/ HANA database to read data from sap HANA / post back to HANA database from Gateway service SAP ODATA from UI5 based fiori apps. Now 'Urgently had one requirement, that there is a Microsoft SQL Server to read the table data/posting to/data from fiori application. So any idea how does it related to SAP and how to learn (i'm getting confused)".

Q: " Some one said its visual basic topic, its completely different",it may be used / may not be used.or can this can be used instead sql server use ABAP Database. i dont no anything in SQL.

Is your ECC backend running on the Microsoft SQL database which you talk about? As far as I know, Fiori apps can pull/push data only to SAP ABAP systems and not other non-SAP systems.

Normally SAP FIORI ---- to ---- SAP Data Base we use ABAP with OData. But here they are not using SAP Database. Instead of SAP they using Microsoft SQL Server. They just need to connect SAP fiori --- to --- Non- Sap (SQL) like Odata, if not they want to use OData in SQL Server. Is it Possible. ?

What about SOAP Service --Connecting Client proxy to External Server.? think that client proxy is SAP and External is Non-sap.

Please suggest me.
