SAP Fiori - App Variant title translation

Hi,

I am writing in relation to creation of App Variant. After making changes to the app, and pressing "Save as" button a dialog is displayed, in which it is required to provide a title for the variant. This title is then saved to "manifest.appdescr_variant" file, and the value provided is used as a title in the Fiori Launchpad, when the app variant is launched.

I have following questions:

1. Is it possible to have app variant title translated to other languages?
2. Is it possible to NOT override the title from original app and use the translation that is already in the original app?

Hi @piotrkocakmd 

1. Yes, it is possible to have key user app variant titles translated into other languages! App variants use standard translation mechanisms. The specific tools depend on your backend system. Which system are you using, is it S/4HANA, S/4HANA Public Cloud, BTP ABAP environment or BTP Cloud Foundry?

2. We recommend changing your title to better distinguish between the original app and the app variant.
