Hello,
I'm facing a strange problem. I'm using SAPJCo, and I am trying to establish a connection to SAP system over a saprouter. I am getting following exception:
com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (102) RFC_ERROR_COMMUNICATION: Connect to SAP gateway failed
Connect_PM GWHOST=/H/193.166.9.16/H/sapecc.helia.fi, GWSERV=sapgw00, ASHOST=/H/193.166.9.16/H/sapecc.helia.fi, SYSNR=00

ERROR timeout occured

COMPONENT NI (network interface)

The data which I passed is correct. SAP Gui works correctly and establishes connection without any problem.
I've got to indicate that one month ago (before my vacation), my application got connection without any problem as well. I didn't change anything. I've just come back to work after holiday and it doesn't want to work. I wonder why timeout occured? What can be the source of the problem?
Any clue?
Please help me...it is extremely important.
Off course any answer will be appreciated and considered and all helpful answers will be properly rewarded.
Looking forward any answer.
BR,
Hi
Basically the problem is due to :
JCO_ERROR_COMMUNICATION
Exception : caused by network problems, connection breakdowns, gateway problems, unavailability of the remote SAP system, etc.
Resolution
Get the host of the SAP System from dev_jrfc.trc or the JRFC trace; ping the SAP system from command line; check routers, gateways, SAP systems
