SAP CAL always same SID

Hi,

I have two HANA systems via SAP CAL one is licensed and the other is still in the test phase, when I want to license the other one, I get the warning that I have already licensed the system with the SID. But SAP CAL always creates the systems with the same SID. What can I do?

Hi Daniel, did you only get a warning (and could theoretically continue) or were you blocked in continuing ?  For non-production systems (as it's the case in CAL) you should be able to register the same SID multiple times (but that might have changed).  What CAL template are you using ? Hi Joerg, Thank you for your reply. Yes it is a warning where you can continue. It is the template: SAP S/4HANA 2023 FPS01, Fully-Activated Appliance So theoretically it should work?
