SAP C4C Business Partner integration with S4HANA over SAP PI

Hi guys,

we have integrated SAP C4C with SAP S4HANA (on-premise) through SAP PI.

When we try to replicate business partner from SAP C4C to S4HANA, we receive an error message "Enter a value for field SEARCHTERM1".

We have already tried to set this field as optional in S4HANA for the replicated business partner role through transaction BUCG, but to no avail. The "Search Term 1" field still stayed required.

Is it even possible to make this field not mandatory?

Hello samot,
Execute below steps and try reprocessing the message.

1. Go to TA: sm30
2. Enter view name =MDGV_BP_SYS_PAR
3. Click change
In the view maintain the following values:
Business System = ABCDEF (the sender C4C system)
Flt.Rfl.Pf = Checked
C4C = Checked
After maintaining the above settings, the mandatory value will be added automatically when data is replicated via SOA services
