SAP BW4HANA DTO- Delta update not working in Cold Store

Hi All,

We are on SAP BW4HANA 2.0 SP07. Have already performed DTO on ADSOs and have moved data to Cold store in SAP IQ 16.1

When any changed data is extracted in BI, the data gets loaded properly in Inbound table of ADSO in Cold Store (/BIC/A****9). However, when trying to activate the data in Cold Store, it shows that job has successfully completed but data is not available in active table of Cold store (/BIC/OU***** table).

Did anyone face such issues? If yes, then kindly let us know the solution.

can you successfully check the Cold Store with tx. RSDANLCON?

check the correct setup of the Cold Store with the resources of SAP Note

Thanks Roland.

We have checked the connection and it is working fine. Normal DTO works fine from HOT to COLD. Issue is only with delta activation of Cold Inbound table.

Is there any specific db setting parameter that our DBA team needs to check?

so obviously your first statement was not correct about the Normal DTO works fine from HOT to COLD. you would already have some problems here, as you shown a fundamental problem with your nearline storage implementation on SAP BW/4.

Well, in this case you have to check with the Document the correct Setup -

• SAP First Guidance - SAP NLS Solution with SAP IQ 16.x

Did you applied any SAP Corrections for the cold store after SP07 for SAP BW/4 2.0?

Did you updated the DTO Buffer with tx. RSOADSODTO as stated above?

For SAP BW/4: Did you have the Remote Source specified in tx. RSDANLCON?
