SAP BW-Cannot create DS as type External System (RSA1)

Guys,

Im on BW73 SP7 .

In the past you could create dataservices as an external system in BW Transaction RSA1.

On BW73 SP7 I cannot do this. Even if you choose External System > Create , the

dataservices is created as type Dataservices.

Anyone else faced this issue ?

Hi Tony,

Could you please open an OSS message under the BW-WHM-DST-SRC component. They mentioned the note 1692642 to solve the issue. However I would suggest you to confirm the solution with SAP BW-WHM-DST-SRC support.

Thanks George,

   I applied note 1692642 ,but it made no difference. SAP have accepted it is an issue on our BW730 SP7 System ,but presently have no solution.
