Hi
We have users who are members of many groups, and it looks like that if a user was added to more than 30 groups, all other groups will be ignored, that means that, there will be a restriction of the membership groups. Can I increase the number? if so how and where?
We have the problem since upgrading to SAP BI 4.2 SP6 P200.
There was no restriction with SP05

Mile
Hallo Jawahar many thanks for the answer,
Because you wrote that there is no restriction on adding users to number of groups, I analyzed all the security again,
with the following result
There is an override of the authorization.
Our Scurity is implemented as follows:
The users who work in SAP BO are SAP BW users who are imported with SAP BW roles. The folders Structure and Security are similar to SAP BW, ie InfoArea -> Folders with two groups each -> View and Designer. 5 of this imported users will also be Administrators. But since this user already belongs to groups for certain folders and thus receives certain rights, the admin rights are ignored at these specific Folders.
e.g.
Folder: Sales -> AuthorizationGroup: Sale_View
User: X_man has been added to the group Sale_View but also the group Administrator
And although he is an Administrator, he does NOT have Full Control for the Sales Folder because he was also assigned to Group
Sale_View.
any idea How can I handle this?
regards
Mile

By any chance, the rights assigned to the group has any explicit denied rights. In that case, even if the user is in admin group, deny rights will take precedence.
there is no restriction on adding users to number of groups. What do you mean it ignores the other groups?
