SAP Automated monitoring

Hello Experts,

Can anyone help me to find out if there is way to automate basic monitoring like long running jobs in sm37, number of dumps for a day, cancelled jobs, any failed entries in smq1 and smq2. Database level spaces etc.

Is there any kind of script that could help me to automate this and send a mail automatically in a form of report?

If so please help me, I have searched SCN and there is no proper guidance how to do.

If you already have SAP Solution Manager, consider to use Technical Monitoring to meet your need.

Hi Amarnath,

The best and reliable way to achieve this is via Solution manager technical monitoring as Ning suggested or using CCMS alert configuration again solution manager.

Why you still need scripts when we have some easy way to achieve this. Anyway its your call to decide
