I'm wondering if anyone has experience with the new Snapdragon X series Windows 11 PCs. My expectation is that all new cloud solutions should work seamlessly through the browser, just like on x64 or x86 systems. However, for other tools such as SAP GUI, Java GUI, ADT (ABAP Development Tools), and even the OpenJDK for Windows on ARM64, the situation may be different. I understand that it's still early days, and some older solutions may never receive full support.
I'm also interested in how well the Prism emulator works for running SAP applications. I’m presuming that even if emulation adds a bit more than 20% processing overhead, it wouldn’t be too significant or even noticeable if everything functions as expected. The challenge is with the drivers and VPNs, which do not work under the Prism emulator.
Despite these concerns, there is already a substantial list of native software for Windows on ARM that’s available today. It will be interesting to see how the ecosystem continues to develop.
[Conclusion] After one week of using Windows 11 ARM-based laptop PC, no issues found. List of installed software as well as the list of x64 processes when everything is running at the same time, is below. I'm thrilled with this outcome.
SAP GUI for Windows 8 Final Release - 64bit, Patch Level: 9 Hotfix: 1
ABAP Development Tools for Eclipse3.44
NW Developer Studio 7.5 SP30
SAP PI Integration Builder tools (swing PI tools ESR and IB) 7.5

@Sven For ADT: Which version of JRE did you install, x64 or Arm64?
I tried JRE & Eclipse platform for Arm64 and was fascinated with the performance, however after installing ADT plugin, ADT throws an error.
SAP GUI x64 works fine.

Just for your information: The ADT installation guide provides a list with all prerequisites: https://help.sap.com/doc/2e9cf4a457d84c7a81f33d8c3fdd9694/Cloud/en-US/inst_guide_abap_development_to... (see page 23)
@wolfgang_woehrleIt would help, if ADT would support Windows ARM native, similar to Mac Mx. The X64 simulation mode works, but it is slow.
JRE & Eclipse Platform work really fast and native on Windows ARM, start up time is 2 seconds, only ADT throws the following error:
ABAP communication layer is not configured properly. This might be caused by missing Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 (x64) Runtime DLLs. Consult the installation guide or download page for further details on how to install this component.
