I noticed a conflict about allocation maintenance in SAP Analytics Cloud. In the user set-up
SAC allows to non-Planning Professional users to create or maintain allocation step.
But in the Data Action, SAC allows only Planning Professional users to maintain/Save it.
So, how can a Planning Standard user can maintain an Allocation step if the Data Action can’t be saved from a Planning Standard user?
Request clarification before answering.
This was a part of the product strategy when they migrated the Allocations to be part of Data Action.
There is an existing Influence request for this which you should upvote. Although the request has been categorized as not planned due to the product strategy.

Thanks for the response.
However in current cases where an allocation process has already been designed this can lead to a variety of issues. And such issues can only be solved with user's upgrade from Planning Standard or even BI Roles to Planning Professional. I believe that if an allocation step existed in the Multi-Action environment this would prevent such cases.
