Can you find out what API version the Salesforce.com connection in CR is configured for? For example, the server URL or endpoint is something like this: https://www.salesforce.com/services/Soap/u/12.0 for API V12 or https://www.salesforce.com/services/Soap/u/8.0 for an older version. This appears to be the reason CR is not able to see the "Manager" field on the User object. Only V12 is able to expose this new type of SF field ("hierarchy").

The

CR Salesforce.com data driver is using version 9 of the salesforce API,

which means you will not be able to see the Manager field. Also, the

salesforce.com endpoint cannot be configured, so your options for now

are to either create a custom Manager field, or wait for the next

version of the salesforce.com CrystalReports driver. Thanks, Charles
