SAC Planning - Actuals Vs Plan - Variance column formula

Hello,

I have a standard requirement, where for a 'Month', there can be 'Actuals' and a Plan version like 'Priv1. The third column needs to show the variance between the plan and actuals.

I created a calculated column, as in the below screenshot. It works great for Priv1 !!

But the user may select another version like 'Priv2'. If that is done, the formula doesn't work. Any way to achieve this requirement?

@SarathSunny1

Its such a simple requirement but we still cannot make that table client calculation work because it gets attached to the member and when you change version it errors out. The only solution will be restricted measure and calculated measure for variance. I know its not ideal but I am not sure when we will have table level calculation working as dynamic.

Thank you @N1kh1l. Yes, the calculation is getting attached to a member, and when the version is changed, it errors out.

Thank you @N1kh1l. Yes, the calculation is getting attached to a member, and when the version is changed, it errors out. 'Variance' and 'Variance %' are a standard requirement. Hope it will be included by SAP in future.

Thank you. I am able to resolve this using Restricted Measures and a calculated measure for Variance, as you suggested.
