SAC Excel Add-in Table Dimension drop-down

Hello,

I am currently testing the new Excel Add-in for SAC and currently experiencing issues when trying to drill down in dimension hierarchies. This issue is present for both Excel online and Excel 365 for MAC.

When I click on the arrow next to the Dimension parent node in the table as shown in the introduction video: https://youtu.be/SaL2uCYBXbs, the cell is selected rather than the hierarchy being expanded. I've noticed that I was able to drill down once in a while, but most of the time the cell is selected.

Has any of you experienced this issue or have any idea if there are any restrictions regarding this functionality?

Hello Olivier - for me, the icon requires a single click to expand; it takes some getting used to but works consistently for me.

Thanks for the comment! I confirm that by clicking only once and waiting works. This mostly worked when expanding the appropriate dimension members before adding another dimension in the rows section.

However, once many dimensions are displayed in the rows section and I try to close an expanded dimension, the dimensions doesn't always drill up.

Have you experienced similar symptoms with many dimensions in your table?

we plan to enhance the drill behavior in the next deliveries planned in the coming weeks.

It will be only possible to drill if the mouse is positioned on" Expand" icon , not elsewhere in the cell. So the behavior will remain more stable. Best Jeanne
