hi,

is it now possible to blend BW live models in optimized Design Mode?

i tried it with the new release, but it still doesn't works.

somebody has maybe a hint?

The "blending" seems to be possible only with a chart object and not with table object, is it right?

When using a chart object with the blending scenario, why i have to add the the link dimension into the object to display this chart?

If you look in the road map explorer

you will see that the feature is still not delivered but it's still in Q3... So I suppose it must be close.

We support Blended Charts with the available release in the Optimized Experience. For Blended Tables it is tentatively planned for the 2025 Q1 QRC (subject to change by SAP at any point in time). It is best to continue to monitor the Roadmap Explorer to see the latest updates and exact timelines.

For Blended Visualizations, we've added a more guided experience to ensure that customers are not creating a Blended Visualization without realizing OR assume there are in a blended state. It means there are two rules:

  1. Users must use at least one entity from each data model that is added to the Builder Panel. It could be a measure or dimension and can be satisfied via binding it to the visualization, adding a filter, and so on
  2. Users must have a least one linked dimension within the visualization.

But why is it necessary to add at least one "linked dimension", if i want to show a aggregated view of the blended data in the chart? e.g. blended diemsion ist "0customer" but i want to show only "0Material" in the chart?

so, this means => if i need table blending, i have to use the classic design mode?
