Hi all,
i´ve setup last week the 30 day trial S/4 HANA instance on CAL(AWS).
So far i can see the setup is ok and running:
Properties:
VM´s:
I have also start the SAP Instance via console (the connection via PUTTY works):
After i connect via RDP and want to start the S4 i cannot start the SAP (via SAP GUI), also a ping to the "internal" IP does not work:
Futhermore the links to the Fiori Apps and BOBJ Reports also not works.
How can i connect to the SAP System/Fiori and BOBJ?
Is something wrong or have i missed something in the setup?
Thanks and br,
fabian

Hello Fabian,
Normally you should not need to start the SAP system from the command-line.
Could you send the 3 /var/log/appliance*.log files from your Linux box.to cal.admin <at> sap.com mail box for deeper investigation?

Hi Fabian,
It seems there was error during initial provisioning of the instance. Particularly - error while starting SCS instance. To investigate further we'll need these SCS logs.
However, as we see such issue for first time - I assume it might be caused by conflicting activities on the VM during the initial provisioning. Usually there is message saying that instance initialization is still ongoing when you SSH to it. If this is the case - you can simply re-create the instance and void connecting to it before you get 'Green' status in CAL
Best Regards,
Ventsislav
