Run Web reports

What should I check for on the system whether I can run the reports as Web reports? What search term should I use to proceed on this?

Hi,

You can try to publish a query to the web from the query designer or bex analyzer (tools button) and this way you can see if the HTTP service is configured properly or not..

I am using Bi 7 and I am not seeing anything that says to publish to the Web. alll the selections are on the left hand side and I don't see it.

Then in the query menu you can use Execute...this will display the query in the web analyzer.

I got an Alert...The Operation timed out when attempting...

Would this translate to the portal server is not yet set up?

No, I don't think so...may be the parameters related to time out settings have not been correctl configured. Your basis person should be able to help out...
