Room Creation Exception

Hi

we have EP Version 6 SP 12 patch

Km and collaboration also on SP 12 patch.

When i am trying to create a collaboration room

after saying FINISH, there is runtime exception as follows:

Portal Runtime Error

An exception occurred while processing a request for :

iView : pcd:portal_content/administrator/super_admin/super_admin_role/com.sap.portal.content_administration/com.sap.netweaver.coll.colcontent/com.sap.netweaver.coll.RoomCreation/com.sap.netweaver.coll.RoomCreationWizard

Component Name : com.sap.netweaver.coll.appl.ui.room.RoomCreationWizard

The exception was logged. Inform your system administrator..

See the details for the exception ID in the log file

Have you done room basic configurations like

Defining Backend System Properties for Room URLs

If you are using Oracle or Maxdb, collaboration room creation fails prior to KM SP12 patch 1 per OSS 857830. I applied KM SP12 patch 3 and it resolved the issue

Hello Folks,

We have been facing the same problem for room creation here. But as per the oss note 857830, when I tried looking for EP6KMC12P_3-.SAR on service.sap.com, instead I found EP6KMC13P_6.sar. We are on EP 6.0 SP 12 and don't really want to upgrade it to other latest patches for some testing purposes. I just wanted to get clarified, will applying EP6KMC13P-6.sar patch instead of the suggested EP6KMC12P_3-.SAR patch solve my purpose without upgrading our KM Components.
