Room Calendar and Meetings

Hi!

I'm trying to read with JAVA the calendar of a ROOM.

For it, I've to use the CDO libraries (Collaboration Data Objects) which are connected with Ms Exchange.

CDO's help says :

"To take advantage of the CDO libraries in a Java program, you must first create Java class wrappers from their type libraries. The type

library for the CDO Library is embedded in CDO.DLL. The type library for the CDO Rendering Library is embedded in CDOHTML.DLL"

How can make those "Java class wrappers"?

Also I need to know if it's possible to know, in the calendar of the ROOM, the state of the meetings that are planned (if they have

been made or not)

Thnkz

You have to write a java class that loads the dll and has methods that call the apis of dll.

Hi Javier,

What do you exactly mean when you say that you want to know "the state of the meetings that are planned (if they have been made or not) " . Do you want to find out whether the recipients have accepted it or not. If this is what you want to know about the CDO object AppointmentItem has an attribute MeetingResponseStatus that tells if the meeting is accepted, declined or set to tentative by the recipient.

Rgds,

Akil
