Role upload to portal

Can anyone let me know how to upload roles from a BW or R/3 system to portal??

Hi Payal,

I'm assuming you are on EP6 SP2 since the role upload isn't supported there. It is in EP5 and again in EP6 on Web As 6.40. If your not on SP2, let me know what version of the portal you are running and I'll tell you how to do the upload

I am using EP6SP7 on SAP WAS6.40, can you let me know how can one upload roles in this version of portals?

Hello Payal,

I used the following procedure:

Start the portal as administrator

Choose 'system administrator'

Choose 'transport'

Select 'Upload Role'

There you can select your system (if defined) and select specific roles.
