Hi,

you have write FM which extracts data from

remote system.

use se37 to create RFC FM with remote logon

and use sm59 transaction to create destination.

<b> CALL FUNCTION 'RFC_SYSTEM_INFO' destination

'DEST'</b> IMPORTING

RFCSI_EXPORT = INFO.

CALLER_DESTINATION = INFO-RFCDEST.

CALLER_WHOAMI = SY-UNAME.

CALLER_IP = INFO-RFCIPADDR.

CALLER_SYSTEM_ID = INFO-RFCSYSID.

CALLER_PROGRAM = SY-CPROG.

CALLER_TCODE = SY-TCODE.

CALLER_HOSTNAME = INFO-RFCHOST.

ENDIF.

Hi,

If i understand it correctly ,you are using non-sap system.

In such case ,using RFC (which exists in SAP-ABAP language )from external system(non-sap) ,get data from SAP.You can do so by using RFC connection from non-SAP system with SAP .

These RFCs internally will select data from various SAP tables depending upon the RFC used.(Extraction process)

Thanks
