Hi,
I am using Webdynpro application type callable objects in my process. The webdynpro applications makes calls to backend Function modules - RFCs.
I am facing a problem.
1.execute one callable object ( webdynpro application - accesses RFC from backend)
2. click on another callable object (another webdynpro application - also accesses RFC from backend)
3. It throws 'Service is locked'. when i checked the backend, the first RFC call session is not released, the lock is still there.
But the thing is this is happening only in some of the systems. It is working fine in some of the systems.
Can anybody tell me how is the locking (RFC session timeout) handled in GP?
Thanks,
Sharadha
Hi Sharadha,
Since WebDynpro is initiating the RFC call, the RFC session timeout would be handled by the WebDynpro Adaptive RFC layer (or JCO layer depending on which one you are using). GP only wraps the WebDynpro UI, it does not control the RFC call. Try checking in the Webdynpro forum.
Regards,
Austin.
