Returncodes within new routines within NW2004s

Hi all,

We are just in the progress of migrating our 3.x update rules to new transformations and are wondering what the new returncodes should be mapped too.

Here's our assumptions:-

RETURNCODE = 0. Leave as is or comment out.

RETURNCODE = 4. Use new raise exception type CX_RSROUT_SKIP_RECORD

ABORT = 0. Leave as is or comment out.

ABORT = 4. Use new raise exception type CX_RSROUT_ABORT.

Not too sure when to use raise exception type CX_RSROUT_SKIP_VAL?

Any discussion appreciated.

Cheers,

Sarah

Hi Sarah,

to my best knowledge CX_RSROUT_SKIP_VAL depends on the whether you use it on a key or data field:

1.) For data fields

The value of the is cleared.

2.) For key fields

Same behavior as CX_RSROUT_SKIP_RECORD (the record is skipped).
