Hello,
I've build a query on an InfoCube. This query shows master data characteristics in the rows even when there a no trasaction data. Result rows for all characteristics are suppressed.
Now I show this query on the web. When I drag and drop a free characterisitc in the table, in the rows of the characterisitcs without transaction data a yellow result row shows up.
How can I configure this query, so that there aren't any result rows when I navigate the query?
Kind Regards
Andreas
Thank you for your replies!
It seems like you have to mark all free characteristics as Master Data (Advanced > Access Type for Result Values > Master Data).

The problem with Query is it wont show the characteristic if all key figures for it is zero.
So you can create a structure in the row and create seperate restrictions on every master data.
This will be suitable only when there is less master data and also the requirement on master data characteristic should not change.
Dont know how effective the above will be for you.

Hello,
thank you for you replies!
But I suppressed the result rows for all characteristics in the query using the option "display > result rows > always suppress"
The problem apears only for rows of characteristics which have no transactional data.

Hi,
Select your free characteristic into query designer, goto-> properties->display & for result rows use always suppress. Do this for each free characteristics. It will not display result row even if you will bring free characteristics into row.
Hope this will help you.

Hi,
Ideally, when you Suppress the Result rows for all free characteristics that you are using in Query navigation inluding the Char. in query, the result rows should not be visible.
Please check again to verify the same.
