Request processing failed (XLS 000009) after Migration from SAP BW 7.01 to 7.3

Hello together,

after migration BW form 7.01 to 7.3 the Dashboards with BICS Connections dont work (working only sometimes and slowly).

I am not sure, if the BW-Migration is the reason, but bevor the BICS Connections works fine.

"Request processing.failed. (XLS 000009)<com.sap.sl.edp.datasource.olap.generation.impl.AbstractUniverseGenerator$CannotGetCubeFromConnectionException:"

UNV-Universes on the same Bex Queries are working. Only problems with BICS.

Has anybody the same issue and/or a solution? ( Maybe SP5 is necessary )

Dashboard Version: BO 4.0 SP4 FP2.

Hi,

Try regenerating your Bex queries in RSRT

also, can you create a new webi document based on this BICS?

You might also want to look at the SPS and Notes for the BW7.3 component, as i've seen many customers in difficulties with SP02 -> SP05  (are you using bw7.3 SP07 for example?)

it is also not possible to connect WebI with BICS.

Why shouls regenerating of Bex Queries in RSRT necessary, when Bex Analyzer and UNV-Universes are working.

BW System is 7.3. Level 0008

Hi,

the webi-on-bics test is to simplify and focus.

It sounds like your DSL bridge service (adaptive processing server) is not running on the BIPlatform. please check .

If it is, then time to start tracing DSL bridge, and the webi proc server.

And also RSTT trace in BW.

between the 3 you should be able to capture the |E| error and understand why this is happening.
