Friends,
Does reporting agent get data after VB macros refresh in workbook or does it just run in the background without going to workbook?
Please let me know ASAP.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Bhavin,
Using reporting agent you cannot pre caluculate workbooks , This limitation is upto bw3.1..But now in bw3.5 You can precaluculte using workbook precaluculation service....

Bhavin,
Welcome to SDN,
The reporting agent will look at only areas like exceptions etc and the VB Macros woud be used to customize the report at runtime and hence thay would not be involved in this case.

Hi Bhavin,
The Reporting Agent just deals with the query and not a workbook, so it doesn't get near the macros.
