HI,
I have query having following date characteristics
1) posting date
2) document date
I want the user to enter posting date on selection screen, and that value should automatically pass to 'document date' also.
Basically passing(copying) the posting date to document date.
I have created a posting date variable (zpstng_date) as ' interval, manual input, ready for input' and restricted the posting date characteristic with this variable.
Now when I create variable for document date as ' single value, replace with variable, not ready for input,'
I cannot see the posting date variable 'zpstng_date' when I search it in 'replace variable with' tab, so that I can replace the document date with posing date.
Please help
Regards,
Rahul S

Hi,
since one is interval and one is single value the variables do not fit together.
you should select for the second variable something where the intervall from the first fits in - probably a selection variable.
If that does not work then use a selection variable as the first one and a selection for the second one.

Hi,
Sometimes you do not get the technical name of the variable from which it has to be replaced..No issues, you can manually enter the technical name of that user input variable in replace variable with space.
Hope that helps.

Hi Rahul,
You should get newly created variable try once...you can achieve this using customer exit variable also read posting date variable value and pass to document date variable..think about this also.

Replacement Path variable can be used only for text & formula variables.
