Replacement of BW with SAP HANA (HANA Live)

Can HANA Live (with the help of SAP data services acting as an ETL tool, RDS views and of course with the SLT replication functionality) be replaced with BW safely today?

If yes, why? How it works?

It's unclear to me if you want to replace BW by HANA or the other way around.

Hi Cardeal,

Please note that the HANA Live is deprecated now and is replaced by a superior entity CDS Views.

However CDS views also cannot totally replace BW/4HANA System however if we have small set of data to analyse in source system,we can use CDS views without needing BW system.
