In Query Designer, for a non-key figure field, i need to display a Y when the value=X. This seems simple enough, but i haven't figured out where/how to do it. I'm very new to BI. thanks!
Hi Jill,
If it is a workbook you can write VBA and put it in SAPBEXon Refresh subroutine.
Otherwise you can create a attribue Field for this nonKF field and populate this attribute value. In query you can select attribute value instead of the filed itself.

You cannot create an attribute in the Query Designer.........
You can include an attribute in the infoobject......... Also include a new field in you master data file.........So while loading your master data for value X, automatically value Y will get populated and you can display this in your report..........
Hope I have not misunderstood your question........
