As part of the Repartitioning process, the program RSDU_SET_FV_TO_FIX_VALUE is used to make the Fiscal Year Variant Constant for the InfoCube. We have noticed that after we run RSDU_SET_FV_TO_FIX_VALUE, the Update Rules associated with the InfoCube becoming deactivated. The deactivation does not occur with Transformations.
Has anyone encountered the same problem? If so, how did you remedy the problem?
We are on SPS14 with BI Patch 16.
Thanks in advance.
To partition InfoCubes, the fiscal variants (if they are used in the InfoCube), must be set to a constant value. For empty, inactive InfoCubes, you can do this in the maintenance interface using transaction RSA1. If data has already been loaded to the InfoCube, you can no longer change it in the maintenance interface. You should then use program RSDU_SET_FV_TO_FIX_VALUE to set the fiscal variant to a fixed value, provided all data records loaded to date are assigned to just one fiscal variant. If this is not the case, subsequent partitioning is not possible.

Hope it Helps
