Repair BOXI 3.1 installation

Hi,

I would like to know if I choose the repair option during BOXI 3.1 installation will it hamper my previous data. I mean will it also flush my report published in BOXI.

do I need to take aback up. If yes how to take a backup.

any help is appreciated.

Normally this should not affect your content but I would recommend to do a backup.

The best ay to do a backup is to stop all BOBJ services (SIA) and do a backup of the repository database and the file repository (this resides normally under the Filestore directory unless you have configured this otherwise).

thank you very much.

Can you pls guide me with the backup process, I am new to it.

The reason behind the repirment is all the servers are stopeed except cm and are not starting up.

How do I take the backup can you pls provid me any docs or steps.

If only the CMS is running I ould suggest you to login into the CMC as administrator and check if the license key expired under License keys

Hi,

I am not able to check if the licence really expired.

I believe its not expired.

I am not able to connec to the MySQL default DSN also.

The MySQL database is started but not CMS is not able to connect to it.

When trying to check the licence, the login screen gets open with high refresh rate.
