Renaming Navigation Link

Dear Experts,

I have a user who wants me to rename all the navigation links under ESS to different one. I successfully did in English language, but he do require me to change in another language(DE). So what i do is i change my profile language to DE and start to change frm there, but it doesnt work exactly, DE language overwrite the english one, when i perform the renaming in DE language.so can anyone help me here.

my second question, I would like do the renaming part in our dev first than i would like to TRANSPORT the modification to quality then later to production. Is there anyway of doing this?
