Release Notes for SQL Anywhere 17.0 SP1 PL17 Build 7821 are not available

Release Notes are still not available after 1 week of its release. Is this expected?

"SAP Note/KBA 3515522 is being created."
"The SAP Note/KBA you were trying to reach is currently being created and has not yet been released."

I need to check if a specific fix is implemented in this version.

Thanks.

Notes should be available near the time that patch is posted. It is a bit of a tangent from the the software post but is a manual step. I will follow-up with the colleagues how do that work. As Volker noted that release notes are included self extracting installer. Note that it not foolproof as we have had some occurrences where the read me was empty. I have address the root cause for that to occur but I do not want to assume it is in fact corrected.

Can't comment on when/why SAP provides files - but the readme file is always contained within the download itself, which is an archive within an archive.

So you can just open the contained SA17011_Windows_7821_EBF.exe as an archive and have a look at the contained "ReadMe_EBF.html" file.

Apparently I can't delete my own comment on the question. Of course, the original SQL Anywhere Forum had the facility to turn comments into answers and vice versa... 😕

The release notes should not be accessible externally. If you have any issues, please post here.

Ok, now I have access to the EBF31062_README.txt, but it is only 59 lines long. Apparently it is incomplete.
