release datasource for direct access

Hello BW Experts,

How can we release datasources for direct access. This is required for the datasources to be used for the remote cubes.

If I understands your question correctly. Please check the following

Go To Transaction Code RSO2 and give any of active Data source in the Transaction Data click on Change or display and click the push button display Field List in the next screen you could see a check mark called for Datasource for reconciliation select that and press F1 for help and you see following Info

The DataSource performs data reconciliation with another DataSource and should therefore not be used "productively".

For reconciliation, the data reconciliation DataSource should be used in a scenario with direct access. The data that is extracted is compared with the data in the DataSource that is to be checked.

4) direct access

5) delta update

6) package

could you let me know where did u find this field in the screen
