Regarding RWB Components Under Component Monitoring

Hi Experts,

Basically My Issue is Unable to get the Adapter Engine in the Communication channel .

So When I Check up with the RWB, I Observed that We are having Some Inconsistencies.

We Installed the Adapter Engine As Non-Central Adapter engine At the Time Of Installation .

So It's Not Showing Under the Integration Server Part, It's Showing Under the Non-Central Adapter engine Part.

Is it will be the Cause for this Error in the CC ???

Please Let me Know

Regards

Khanna

Hi,

<<<Is it will be the Cause for this Error in the CC ???

exactly

its probably because youve deleted business system of XI once (thats the most often cause of that)

Hi Michal,

It's Right. The Business System Of XI is not here, i think it has been removed Unexpectedly.

And After that We Created the Business System For XI Manually.

Hi,

>>>It's Right. We Deleted the Business System Of XI Unexpectedly.

then it's more serious as you need to recreate CIM data in SLD

manually

and do a few other things - I had this error once and I managed to

get rid of it but I don't have any "how to steps" I just worked with SLD

and caches - pretty lots of things to check as far as I remember

hi,

>>>Then Is there Any Alternative Solution For this ??

what do you mean ?

there is no alternative you just have to recreate CIM data in SLD

and then check if it's working just like I did - can you get any XI

consultant to help you with that ?

or you can install XI server once more if you have little

XI experience this might be even quicker

Hi Michal,

Here We Dont hve Any XI Consultant .

I Don't Know How to Recreate the CIM Data in SLD.

So I Have the Only Option to Re-Install the SAP Netweaver Exchange Infrastructure Again.

What is the Process to Re-Install the XI ??

We Have EP ,, XI & DI Also In the Same Server

Should I Format the System ??? Or Is it Enough to Re-Install the XI ??

Please Let Me Know

Hi Barry Neaves ,

After I Found that the Business System of the XI has been Deleted then I Created the New Business system with the Role of Integration server And I Mentioned the IS URL Also.

Apart From All these Documents I Observed that the Following Document Will help for this Issue

https://websmp105.sap-ag.de/~sapdownload/011000358700003772342006E/SLD_04_SPS20_20070502.pdf

Shall I Follow that Doc From Page 32 To Recreate the CIM Data in SLD( Importing CIM Instances ) ????

Please Let Me Know

Hi Barry,

>>>Sometimes restarting the whole box resets this information - as long as your SLD is set up and working okay.

I'm sure it will not fill CIM data in SLD

trust me on that I "played" with the same error for half a day to change it

I did mention that if it was working properly, sometimes this may work...

Sometimes it is the simplest things that can resolve errors (but not always)

Hi Barry Neaves,

When I am Following the Steps Of Importing CIM Instances

I Clicked on the SLD-Administration-Content ---Import

Here It is Saying that <b>"Please Start the SLD server First "</b>

Here in the SLD Window Status is Running

Please Let me Know

Then you do not need to start it!
