hmm...we talk about ST02 (= sap memory parameters NOT oracle!)

-> any of the values underlined with red?

-> which of the parameters have a hitratio of 70%

-> did you implement any memory management sapnotes, such as zero memory mmgt?

nice catch Andreas!

siva rao,

double-click on the hit ratio, then, click on Current parameter

you will see which parameters to increase in tcode RZ10

I hope this resolves your issue

>>>you will see which parameters to increase in tcode RZ10

but carefully increase it on 32 Bit platforms.

otherwise you will waste your fill up your limited virtual address space and in worse case you are no longer able to start the app-server.

you will need to adapt memory parameters in initSID.ora... if this is Oracle...

Hi

Hit Ratio depends on various factors like

---database buffer cache --db_cache_size

---shared pool cache --shared_pool_cache

---caching frequently used objects in shared_pool_reserved_size

---checkpoint frequency

---row channing

analyzing the objects regularly ,so latest stats available for execution plan

...etc

Go through all the above and try to resolve hit ration problem

it depends on your ORacle version, if you have enabled auto PGA or dynamic SGA etc...

please supply version and initSID.ora...

if you just started your system, wait a few hours, it should increase normally.

if using BW, a hit ratio or 90% if acceptable. for R/3, go for 95% +
