Reg. the Business Service and Business System(Integration Directory).

Hi,

I have a small doubt reg. the Business Service and Business System. When do we need to go for creating a Business Service AND a Business System? I want to know the difference b/w them and the usage of a Business Service as compared to a Business System. Generally I create Business Systems in my configuration scinerioes. Could anybody pl. clarify on this?

Business System :

A2A communications,scenarios within ur landscape

Business Service :

B2B communication,when u deal with sender or receiver who are outside urlandscape.

Hey

in addition to above replies i would add one thing here that the business service name does not change when u move ur objects from Dev to QA and Prd,hence even if you are doing a B2B scenario but ur requirement is such that u dont wanna change ur service name you can go with with business service instead of business system

Note:ofcourse you can keep same name for Business system in Dev ,QA and Prd but that basically negates the whole purpose of having separate environments for Dev ,QA and Prd
