we can define one structure in columns and one in rows.
Why cant we define two structures in key figures (columns)?
what may be the reason and what happens if we do so??
i've searched the sdn but i coudnt find the correct reason for it?
I kindly request you to suggest few solutions for this..
Thanks in advance!!!
You can create 2 structures in Columns. But only one of them can have key figures in it. The other one can have only selections and restrictions.
The reason for this is that, it is mandatory to have a unique key figure value in each cell of the output. If you put keyfigures in both structures there will be some cells (columns) where there are 2 keyfigures involved in it.
When you put 2 structures in the cols, there will be M x N number of columns where M is the number of cols in the first structure and the N is the no of cols in the second one.
Hope this is clear...
