Recommended file size for export

Hello,

Based on what you have seen, what is the biggest data export you would recommend? Where should the threshold be set for our end users?

Hi,

I cannot tell you what is the mximum limit but you can try setting it at universe level.

Go to Designer and Open the Universe that Webi Report is using

From File Menu go to Universe Parameters and click on it

Click on Tab Control

Go to Limit Size of result set to and change it ti your requirements.

Go Back from the Universe Parameter to Definition and edit the connection and click next twice

Until you get the Configuration Parameter

On the Connection Pool Mode Select from the Drop down list Disconnect after each transaction and click finish

Click O.k button then Save the Universe and export it to CMS Repository again to owerwritte the previous Universe setting.
