Receiver REST adapter output

I have a scenario where I am sending data to target system using rest adapter(Rest adapter at receiver end).

The target system demands some http-headers along with data. I have added those headers under HTTP Headers tab and those are working fine.

However, I am interested in seeing what HTTP request message is being sent by the adapter. I am interested in getting the complete payload in which I can see the HTTP request/response parameters as well as the xml payload that is being sent to the target system.

Is there anyway to obtain the information that I am looking for?

You can try following to see HTTP request:

1. Use postman tool to send request. Once its successful go to the tab/window wherein its possible to see raw http request. This will give you feel of what is actually transmitted

2. Use xpi inspector tool and check. You can also take receiver HTTP_AAE as receiver adapter temporarily keeping url same as REST API to check http logs.

Hi Ravi,

Thanks for prompt reply.

I am not sure about point 1 you mentioned. This is a proxy to rest scenario. Even if I post data using postman tool, I am not sure how will the changes that I made in the receiver adapter will be reflected in the HTTP request. Please guide further regarding this.
